The Office of New Student and Family Programs provides students and families with meaningful experiences and communications in order to inform them about university resources and connect them to the larger university community. Initiatives include the Parents Association and programming for Orientation, Welcome Week, and Family Weekends.
In partnership with the university community, to foster student success by engaging students and families in the Volunteer experience.
To provide a quality transition experience and establish connections for both students and families through VOLS:
Volunteer community: Our team is dedicated to the successful transition of all new students and their families by introducing them to the Volunteer community.
Opportunities: Through various engaging programs, we provide inclusive opportunities for students and families to learn more about the university, get involved on campus, and identify campus resources.
Learning: We foster learning and development for student leaders, Parents Council members, and staff.
Support: Through programming and communications, we create a system of support for families to positively influence student success.
